Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant

We currently have a vacancy for a kitchen porter / kitchen assistant – this is an ideal role for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual who is interested in getting involved in the restaurant industry. Although the main responsibility is manning the dishwash area, you will also be required to maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and carry out some basic food prep. The ability to work under pressure in a very fast paced environment is essential. The post is 30-35 hours approx. per week, over 5 days – which does include weekend work, evenings and split shifts.

Training and guidance can be given to allow some food preparation to be included in the role
